Book Illustration for 『산책의 언어』산책하며 만난 자연에 대한 언어를 모아 엮은 책 ‘산책의 언어’를 위한 일러스트레이션 작업입니다. 이 책은 단어 사전과 작가의 에세이가 결합된 형식으로, 사전에 에세이가 녹아있는 정제된 언어로 쓰여졌습니다. 일러스트레이션은 텍스트와 조화롭게 흐르며, 독자에게 글의 시작을 알리는 역할을 합니다.
검은 선의 균일한 두께와 정면 2D 시점을 유지하면서 이미지를 추상화하고, 주제에 따라 위트있는 표현을 더하여 제작하였습니다.

This illustration work was created for the book “The Language of Walking”, which compiles words inspired by nature encountered during walks.
The book combines a dictionary-style format with personal essays by the author, where each entry is written in refined language that subtly incorporates the author’s reflections.
The illustrations flow harmoniously with the text and serve as visual cues that mark the beginning of each entry.
Maintaining uniform black line thickness and a flat 2D front-facing perspective, the images are abstracted with a touch of wit added according to the theme.
